With the demand for better smartphones at lower prices, smartphone makers have had to face cut-throat competition in price-sensitive markets such as India. The mid-range segment, consisting of phones in the Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 25,000 bracket, has phones selling like hot cakes both online and offline markets. With festive sales offering discounts, offers and cashbacks, customers have driven smartphone sales during this particular quarter in the country. While the average Indian smartphone user may not change phones as frequently, value for money has been one of the key demands from the customers. Ever since Chinese smartphone makers flooded the Indian markets with a low-cost offering, domestic players have been displaced and edged out. Xiaomi takes credit for bringing in a slew of affordable devices with decent hardware in the mid-range segment. Following Xiaomi, other makers such as Asus, Honor (Huawei), Realme have taken note and followed suit.

In this article, we list smartphones with 6GB of RAM that are priced under Rs. 25,000 price bracket. A couple of years earlier, 6GB of RAM would have seemed to push the boundaries of what could be offered to the mid-range customers. However, with the cost of parts reducing with large-scale production, makers such as Xiaomi and others have been offering flagship-grade parts in cost-effective devices. On Android, more RAM has always been desirable- primarily for multitasking capabilities which include browsing resource intensive apps and gaming, as well. Redmi Note 5 Pro

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Redmi Note 5 Pro is available in five colour options- Black, Blue, Gold, Red and Rose Gold. Customers who purchase the smartphone on Flipkart can avail No Cost EMI of Rs.2,500 per month. Customers can get up to Rs. 11,7000 off on exchange. Realme 2 Pro
