Living in exotic hotels with a picturesque backdrop is the stuff of dreams for any globetrotter. Norway’s fjord is one such location which is home to the famous Preikestolen, a 1,982-foot cliff in the southern part of the country that attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Now, a Turkish architect has proposed to design a jaw-dropping hotel that will be suspended from the cliff and will also feature a swimming pool.

According to reports, the boutique hotel has been proposed by Turkish design studio Hayri Atak. If the construction is successfully done, the hotel will overlook the Norwegian fjord and provide extraordinary views of the Scandinavian forests.

As pitched by the design studio, the construct will feature a large viewing platform on the top deck which will also serve as the entrance for guests. Below the top deck will be three floors of guest quarters, each of which will have an observation area. The lowest deck will have a protruding swimming pool with a glass floor that will let guests look down at the 2,000 feet drop below their feet.

As of now, the hotel is just a concept and Hayri Atak is still waiting for approvals and clearances from the country. The design studio said the concept is the world’s first and "the only building in the world to incorporate a 360-degree infinity pool."

Hayri Atak has a reputation for designing wild structures like  a translucent train station in Berlin and a spiral observation tower in Latvia
